Kuriftu Resort and Spa will inaugurate in two months time its new 15 Million Birr lakeside restaurant, Fortune reported. The restaurant is built on the shores of Lake Tana and on the left of the main Kuriftu Resort.

The construction of the restaurant was commenced two years ago after Kuriftu secured a 5.4 Million Birr loan from the Construction and Business Bank. “Although Bahir Dar admittedly houses several hotels and restaurants, they are not enough to cope with the growing demand of visitors and customers”, Tadios Belete told Fortune

Ethiopian traditional food is what will be catered by the restaurant. Customers will also be able to watch the cooking from the fully visible kitchen.

The main dining room is to be found on the middle of the compound surrounded by fruit trees. It lies on 800 square meters and has 10 gazebos.
