Cabey PLC, the largest importer and distributor of Bridgestone car tires in Ethiopia, inaugurated a tire maintenance and retread center, according to The Reporter.

The retreading facility situated on a 10,000 square meter plot in Akaki Kality Sub city, costed 15 million birr.

The center will provide various tire-related services, including replacement, balancing, rotation, checking service and reporting (TCS), air and nitrogen filling and wheel alignment.

Cabey is owned by Saeed Alamoudi, brother of Ethio-Saudi business tycoon Sheik Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi. Cabey is the sole distributor of Bridgestone tires and the sole agent of Saudi Airlines, in addition to its coffee export business.
