Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) Development Bureau of Addis Ababa anounced job creation plan for 235,000 people during the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year.

In a press conference held Thursday, October 24, 2013, Tilahun Worku said, the jobs will be created in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, trade and services sectors.

The Bureau is targeting to disburse 1.2 billion Ethiopian birr loan to micro and small enterprises with a view to achieve the target.

Tilahun said the Bureau has already started registering unemployed citizens. The Bureau created jobs for 222,000 people during the previous fiscal year, according to Tilahun.
