The Ethiopian Trade Enterprise is to open three wholesale stores in Addis Ababa, Fortune reported. The stores will be constructed in Nifas Silk Lafto and Akaki Kality sub-cities and the third store will be located on a property belonging to the Merchandise Wholesale & Import Trade Enterprise in Addis Ketema sub-city.

A.T Kearney, a German based consulting firm was contracted to design an Enterprise Resource Planning software. A.T Kearney was awarded the 7 million Euro contract after competition with four other companies in February this year.

The project of establishing 36 wholesale outlets across the country is expected to take 27 months, Fortune reported quoting Ali Siraj, State Minister of Trade.
