Ethiopia's Anti-Corruption Watchdog Signed Contract with India's CSM

Ethiopia's anti-corruption watchdog, Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission signed contract with CSM Technologies, an Indian technology firm for a website design.

In a press statement it sent to Ethiopian News Agency on Tuesday, the Commission said the website will enable it to publicize the wealth of 60,000 government appointees.

According to the Commission's statement, CSM Technologies will design the website for US$198,530. The financing for building the website is obtained from Justice System Reform.

Ethiopia enacted the wealth registration proclamation in 2010, which authorizes the Commission to register the asset and wealth of government appointees as part of the nationwide efforts to curb corruption.
