On-line registration platform for the AGOA Forum 2013 Private Sector Session is launched today. The event will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from August 9-13, 2013.

Business and individuals interested to attend the session can now register at
www.africacncl.org, coordinators of the Private Sector Session said in a  statements today.

The Corporate Council on Africa and the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (ECCSA) are jointly assigned by the U.S and Ethiopia to coordinate the Private Sector Session at the forum.

Katrin Kuhlmann, USA Africa Business Center Executive Director, said, “The website will serve as a platform for registering for the event, providing information on the private sector session and forum agenda, hotels and visas, and sponsorship. It will also allow participants to request entry to the AGOA ministerial session and/or entire forum program.”

Discussion on crosscutting issues important to the private sector, such as innovative approaches to implementing AGOA, opportunities in Africa’s energy sector, the continent’s role in global supply chain development, and emerging ICT approaches will be held through industry-specific panel discussion.

This years AGOA Forum 2013 is organized under the theme, “Sustainable Transformation through Trade and Technology,”.
