Asseco Shortlisted Four Ethiopian Companies for Partnership

Asseco, a Polish IT company  has shortlisted local Information Technology companies for partnership in a bid to join the Ethiopian IT sector.

Four companies were shortlisted out of 14 IT companies to be considered for partnership with the company.

The selection of the partnering firm is expected to be announced in the coming few months.

“We have shortlisted four companies and are reviewing them one by one. Once we have reached a decision. We will make the announcement,” Dariusz Brzeski, member of the company's supervisory board, said.

The Company has been discussing with high-level government officials  to establish a software company in Ethiopia, according to Brzeski.

“We will mainly focus on technology transfer. We also plan to build a hub in Ethiopia that will enable us to work on other projects in Africa,” Brzeski said.

Asseco Group, Europe's seventh largest IT company, offers IT solutions for companies and governments.
