Ethio Life & General Insurance to introduce new micro-insurance product called "Women Specific Group Credit Life Insurance".

During the launch this month, the insurance company will hand certificate of insurance to 52 Women's saving and credit cooperatives organized under the organization, Women in Self Employment.

Ethio Life & General Insurance was established by 117 founding shareholder, registering 4.2 million Ethiopian birr in 2008 offering  exclusively life insurance life insurance policies. Two years later, it started to offer general insurance products to expand its business.
