Brazilian Embassy in Addis Ababa Organizing Trade and Investment Forum

The Embassy of Brazil in Addis Ababa announced that it is organizing a trade and investment seminar with Ethiopia, South Sudan and Djibouti.

The seminar is scheduled to be held in June is expected to provide a useful insight on trade and investment to the Brazilian, Ethiopian, Djiboutian and South Sudanese businesses, entrepreneurs and policy makers.

During the event presentations will be made on the business environment of the participating countries, with special focus on the priories and opportunities in areas such as, agriculture, agro-processing, leather, textile, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, banking, dairy, mining, energy and sugar among others.

Representatives of companies and chamber of commerces of the participating counties and Ethiopian government officials from the Ministries of Agriculture, Industry and Foreign Affairs are expected to attend the to day even in early June.

The Embassy also said, the launching of direct flight between Brazil and Ethiopia by the Ethiopian Airlines as of July 1, 2013 will further enhance relations between the two countries.
