The Ethiopian Shipping & Logistics Services Enterprise reported a profit of 593 million Ethiopian Birr, in the last nine months of the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year.

The Enterprise's total revenue stood 5.6 billion Br, about five billion Birr of its total revenue is accounted for operational expenses, including voyage costs, demurrage fees, salaries and port expenses.

However, the Enterprise’s expenditure for the period does not include project costs as it is directly injected from the federal government.

ESLSE has spent five billion Birr in project costs, towards capacity building, construction of new dry ports, expansion of existing ones, and purchase of additional vessels.
