The Addis Ababa City Administration is set to transfer more than ten thousand condominium houses located in different parts of the city to beneficiaries.

The City Administration's Housing Development Bureau has announced the 9th round winners of the housing program on Sunday 7 April 2013. The condos cost over 2 billion Ethiopian birr.

The City Administration has embarked upon massive construction of low income housing projects to ease the housing problem in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

Figures indicate that 27 thousand houses have been transfered to beneficiaries this year alone apart from the ones transferred on Sunday.

The City Administration is constructing over 95 thousand houses at a cost of 61 billion Birr this year, According to the City Administration.
