The Ethiopian Leather Industry Development Institute and the Leather Industries Association are to give a joint press conference on the Ethiopian Leather Industry at 10 am tomorrow morning (12 March 2013) at the Institute’s hall.

The Institute will give a report of the performance and evaluation of the Leather Sector in the Ethiopian budget year of 2005. The Ethiopian Leather Industries Association will present the performance of the 6th All African Leather Fair which was held from 20 February to 22 February 2013. In addition, various current issues on the sector will be discussed.

The Institute requests all media outlets to be present in the press conference.

The Leather Industry Development Institute (LIDI) was established in 1998 by the FDRE Government in order to facilitate and speed up the development of leather and leather products technologies and make industries competitive in the global market. LIDI was called Leather and Leather Products Technology Institute (LLPTI) when it had been established.
