Christmas Bazaar Opened in Addis

The 19th Addis Trade for Development and Christmas Festival and Trade Fair and Bazaar was opened at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center and Market Development Enterprise.

The bazaar organized by Century Promotion Services at a total estimated cost of 5 million birr will continue until the eve of Ethiopian Christmas.

More than 310 domestic and 38 international exhibitors are taking part in the event. It is expected that more than 20 thousand visitors will visit the exhibition which has a 10 birr entrance fee.

Stalls inside the exhibition hall were rented for 16 thousand birr this year while stall outside went for 14 thousand birr. Stalls range from 100 meter squares to 24 meter squares depending on where they are located according to sources.

A range of different products have been put on display including electronics and food products as well as other consumer goods.

The bazaar events will include a range of different concerts led by Zemen and Mehari Brothers bans as well as an estimated 50 vocalists.
