Konnect, an Ethio-German forum aimed at creating business networking and collaboration between Ethiopia and Germany is being held in Addis Ababa for the second time.
The forum is taking place at the offices of the German Development Cooperation under the motto of "Innovation through Migration".
The two days forum is expected to offer opportunities for both experts and companies to create links and promote collaboration to enhance the transfer of technology said Kokebe Haile-Gabriel, Coordinator of the Migration and Diaspora Program of the CIM.
The forum was organized by a collaboration of the German Federal Placement Agency (on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development) and the Deutsche Gesellschaftr Internationale Zusammenarbeit alongside the Migration and Diaspora Program of the Center for International Migration and Development.It is expected that Ethiopian and other entrepreneurs, institutes, and experts will foster connections towards creating more business opportunities by the end of the forum. This is the second time that the Konnect forum is being held in Ethiopia.
It is to be remembered that the first Konnect was held in November of last year. The three day even presented various elements of Ethio-German business relations including private sector development partnership, investments and joint ventures.
