ZDMI to Graduate MBA Candidates

Zemen Development and Management Institute, Ethiopia is to graduate its first batch of candidates for the Master of Business Administration and candidates for the International Diploma in Project Management in November.

The programs were offered in a joint effort between ZDMI and Cambridge International College and Castle College in the UK.

The MBA program is a two year program of full time study but students are allowed to extend the time required to up to three years if necessary.

An international educational program is required to be flexible to allow students travelling in various countries to contact CIC representatives and to continue education according to Solomon Seleshi, Director General of ZDMI.

Zemen was established with the belief that education is important for a country like Ethiopia he said. The program was launched with an agreement with Nottingham International College to deliver the IDPM program in October of 2008 he said.

The school has been striving to deliver quality education from that time onwards added Solomon.

An estimated 188 students have enrolled in the different program so far with 93 having already completed the International Diploma requirements he explained.

In related news Zemen is preparing to launch programs in Information Technology and Computer Science at its main campus following accreditation by the Ministry of Education.
