The new printers are multifunctional and the interactive LCDs can serve as whiteboards explained Ravinder Kumar, Deputy General Manager and Business Solutions Manager with the Middle Eastern Division of SHARP, speaking at a workshop held to introduce the products.
The new products come in different sizes which will be significant for the Ethiopian market according to Kumar.Sharp will be introducing its new solar panel products to the Ethiopian market in the future he said.
The solar products are already well known on the markets of other African countries including Nigeria and Kenya, with street lights being powered by solar energy through the installation of cell towers also able to power Automated Teller Machines.
Sharp plans to enhance its presence on the market with intelligent interactive panels to replace outdated technology noted Kumar.
Alta Computec has been supplying Sharp products on the Ethiopian market such as printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines for the past seven years noted Cherinet Gebre Giorgis, General Manager of the company.
The products have been well known for durability, reliable service and low maintenance costs, in private and government organizations which require fully automated and efficient office products he said.
