Representatives of London Chamber to visit Ethiopia

A delegation from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry is expected to visit Ethiopia between the 26th and 28th of March according to the British Embassy in Ethiopia.

The delegation will be meeting with representatives from the local business community to assess opportunities for collaboration explained the press release sent out by the Embassy.

The delegation from England will consist of 17 business people who plan to promote various products and services.

The products will include agricultural machinery, promotional products and corporate gifts, security, laboratory supplies, specialist lighting and photographic film said the press release.

The delegation will also promote services like asset management, property advice, management consultancy, project finance and venture development, accountancy, power protection and generator solutions as well as product and packaging design noted the release.

The visit will play a part in the larger effort to promote bilateral trade and investment relationship between Ethiopia and the UK and continuous visits by British trade delegations is sign of the increasing interest of British companies in the Ethiopian market said Greg Dorey, British Ambassador to Ethiopia.

The current visit is expected to further strengthen the co-operation between the two countries he asserted.
Representatives of the London Chamber are returning to Ethiopia following a previous visit in 2011 which was successful.

The current trade mission to Ethiopia is being organized by Nyota Mineral ltd in collaboration with the UK Trade and Investment and European Regional Development Fund.
