Ethiopian Airlines to Fly to Benin

Ethiopian Airlines, Ethiopia’s flag carrier, has announced plans to fly to the Republic of Benin beginning on the 15th of June.

Ethiopian will operate non stop flights between Addis Ababa and the economic capital of Benin, Cotonou every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with return flights from Cotonou to Addis Ababa scheduled for Tuesdays Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ethiopian offers accessible and convenient contact between Eastern-Western parts of Africa as well as between destinations in the North and South of the continent through its strategically located hub in Addis Ababa according to Tewolde Gebremariam, Chief Executive Officer of the airline.

The launch of the new flight is expected to expand the airline’s network in West Africa strengthening its presence in the area and widening flight options for its passengers.

Ethiopian will be able to offer a wider range of travel options to various travelers to and from Benin, including tourists, business people and other traders.

Passengers in Cotonou can easily connect to the significant network offered by Ethiopian to take advantage of frequent and fast connections to many destinations including, Beijing, Beirut, Bombay, Dubai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Kigali, Nairobi and Riyadh.

Ethiopian Airlines is operating 40 flights to nine West African destinations weekly with daily connections between Eastern and Western Africa.
