Ethiopia to Release New Tourism Logo Soon

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MoCT) unveiled preparation of the new Ethiopia’s tourism logo has been finalized.

Ethiopia has been using “Thirteen Months of Sunshine” as its tourism logo across the globe.

Gezahegn Abate, Public and International Relations Director at MoCT, told Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) on January 9, 2016, the former logo was not adequate to describe Ethiopia’s entire tourism potential.

He noted the new logo fully describes Ethiopia’s tourist destinations, religious holidays, folklores and wildlife resources, among others.

Gezahegn added the logo will provide people around the world with general information about Ethiopia.
The soon-to- be released logo is expected to bolster Ethiopia’s tourism, he indicated.
