Ethiopia: Inflation Falls to 8.7 Percent
Ethiopian Statistics Agency (ESA) announced Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation had declined from 10.2 percent to 8.7 percent in February.

Central Statistics Agency (CSA) disclosed Ethiopia’s inflation rate for the month August has rose to 7.2 percent, which is a 0.3 percent increase. This is said to be attributable to the increase in non-food items.
According Central Statistics Agency (CSA), Ethiopia’s year on year inflation has rose to 7 percent in November. The inflation rate in the October was 5.6 percent.
Central Statistics Agency said inflation rate has hit double digits for the first time in 27 months.
Central Statistics Agency of Ethiopia (CSA) disclosed year on year inflation rate has rose to 7.9 percent in month of May. According to the Agency’s report inflation rate for March was 7.4 percent.
