A Boeing 737 aircraft that was owned by Ethiopian Airlines is sold to become a hotel and restaurant in Burayu town, some 15 km west of Addis Ababa.
Melaku Alebel, Minister of Industry, called investors to enter Bulbula Integrated Agro Industrial Park and take advantage of the favorable opportunity created by the park, which would ease the problem of raw material supply and infrastructure. The Minister stated this during a program which was prepared to promote the park.

During the promotional program, it was stated that the construction of the park which is located in Oromia region was fully completed. The park is waiting for investors to start production.
The program saw the participation of the President of Oromia Regional State, Shimels Abdissa, the Minister of Ministry of Industry, Melaku Alebel and other senior officials.
Melaku Alebel said that integrated agro industrial parks would have a significant contribution to earning foreign currency by adding value to domestically produced products.

The Ministry of Industry announced that three Integrated Agro Industrial Parks (IAIPs), Bure, Bulbula, and Yirgalem, were open to investors. Bure IAIP, which is situated in Amhara Regional State and built at a cost of Birr 8 billion, has already attracted the interest of 103 investors.

Investors with over Birr 2.6 billion in capital are set to begin coffee and tea production in Jimma Special Economic Zone (SEZ), the Industrial Parks Development Corporation of Ethiopia (IPDC) announced.
