The Ethiopian Investment Agency stated it will be revoking 2,497 investment permits within the next week if the businesses or owners do not report and give explanations to the Agency, Capital reported.
Some 226 investment projects tagged along with 18.46 Billion Birr aggregate capitals got operational during the just ended fiscal year, Ethiopian Investment Commission disclosed.

The Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara, in partnership with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted an investment forum in Bursa City. The forum aimed to promote investment opportunities and incentives in Ethiopia to foreign companies. Investors from Bursa City and its suburbs in the manufacturing, construction, energy, agriculture, and export sectors attended the event.

An investment forum called Invest Origins which is organized by Land Bank and Development Corporation (LBDC) will be held in Addis Ababa between January 26 and 27 at the Ethiopian Science Museum. The forum is aimed at attracting investors to invest in the country in areas of housing, health, education, hospitality, and ICT.
