The Ethiopian House of Peoples' Representatives (HPR) has passed demurrage proclamation on Tuesday 19 November, 2013, The Reporter reported.
The new proclamation is said to be necessary for the export and import of goods at a competitive cost. The law is also expected to reduce delays and benefit consumers, exporters and consignees.
Ethiopia’s legislative organ at the Federal level, House of People Representatives (HPR), has passed the law that establishes Infrastructure Development Coordinating Institute. The Institute is said to coordinate at the federal level infrastructure development works being carried out.
Ethiopia’s lower house, House of Peoples’ Representatives (HPR), ratified loan agreement made with China Export-Import Bank (EXIM Bank of China) worth 250 million USD. The loan is going to be used for finance major infrastructure construction that will be undertaken in the country.
Ethiopia’s federal legislature, House of Peoples’ Representative, ratified a 33 million Birr loan agreement which will be used to modernize the government’s financial administration system.
A 3.73 Billion Birr loan agreement with the China EX-IM Bank was ratified by Ethiopia’s legislature, House of People’s Representatives (HPR). The loan is secured for the upgrade of the 210 Kilometers Dire Dawa – Dewalle road project.
