Ethiopia: Ethiopian Ordered 4 more Boeing 777 Freighters
Ethiopian Airlines and Boeing [NYSE: BA] announced an order for four Boeing 777 Freighters – the world's largest and longest-range twin-engine cargo jet – in a deal valued at more than $1.3 billion at list prices.
Africa’s largest airline group, Ethiopian Airlines, ranked 11th worldwide in flight on-time performance for the month of January 2017, according to FlightStats, the leading provider of real-time global flight data to companies and individuals across the travel ecosystem. Of the almost 8000 flights operated by the airline in January, 81% arrived within 15 minutes of the schedule arrival. Not only did Ethiopian rank 11th worldwide, but it ranked #1 for airlines based in the Middle East and Africa.
Ethiopian Airlines’ management team is aiming to start a new flight to the Los Angeles, U.S. The Airlines is planning to make this trek via Ireland’s capital, Dublin and if everything goes to plan the flight will be launch the coming year.
