The Federal Transport Authority (FTA) is implementing the directive that urges cab owners in Addis Ababa to form share companies and import duty free vehicles that will replace blue and white taxis by registering 2, 700 cab owners.
Ministry of Trade has once again increased the retail price for fuel in Ethiopia. The new price has been made effective since today Friday, March 10, 2017.

The ministry said in a statement that, due to fuel price increase at the global market, a fuel price revision with some increment has been found necessary.

The Ministry explained world price for fuel had been fluctuating making it unpredictable. Therefore, the government has decided to keep the price unchanged.
