In the first half of 2020, the Ethiopia-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway has seen a 51 percent rise in revenues, despite the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, it was disclosed. The railway’s revenue had increased 45 percent in 2019 compared to that of 2018 and has seen a rise of 51.38 percent in the first half of 2020, compared to the same period of the previous year.
