Ethiopia Signs Market Access Protocol with New Zealand in WTO Accession Push

Ethiopia has reached another important milestone in its effort to join the World Trade Organization, signing a Bilateral Market Access Protocol with New Zealand at the WTO headquarters in Geneva.

Ethiopia has signed the treaty of the African Medicines Agency (AMA). Dr. Lia Tadesse, Ethiopia's Minister of Health, has inked the treaty at the AU headquarters. Ethiopia is the 29th African Union member state to sign the treaty.
