Ethiopost gained a revenue of Birr 568 million in the past six months of the current fiscal year. The company was able to collect the revenue from letter and package deliveries, EMS, logistics, and transport services. Ethiopost’s gross profit also reached Birr 146 million during the same period.
Ethiopost sent a delegation to Tunisia to visit La Poste Tunisienne, Tunisia’s national postal company, and other key players in the country's financial sector with a view to expanding its reach.
Addis Ababa City Administration has announced that it has collected over 5.8 billion birr (close to $130 million) in the first month of the new Ethiopian fiscal year which started on July 8, 2021. The amount exceeds the target of 5.39 billion birr set as a target for collection by eight percent.
