Ethiopia’s central bank, National Bank of Ethiopia, disclosed the nations import bill has reached 11.7 Billion USD in the first 9 months of the current fiscal year. This is an 8 percent decline when compared to the same period from last year.
Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation rate has declined to 10.0 percent in November from 11.8 percent in October, Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) reported.
Ethiopia’s inflation rate fell to 7.6 percent in March (Megabit) 2005 E.C., according to the Central Statistics Agency.
Households Survey and Prices Statistics Directorate Director with the Agency, Alemayehu Teferi, said the government has managed to bring price inflation down to single digit as per its plan.Ethiopia’s inflation rate has further surged to 11.9 percent in July, according to The Daily Monitor.
Ethiopia’s inflation rate had risen to 8.5 percent in March from 8.2 percent in February, Central statistics Agency said on Monday, April 6, 2015.
