Ethiopian Aviation Academy is pleased to announce that it has graduated 21 pilots, 21 aviation technicians, 68 marketing professionals and 20 cabin crew at a ceremony held at Ethiopian Headquarters on 4 March 2014.
558 aviation professionals graduated from the Ethiopian Aviation Academy in a virtual graduation ceremony. Of the 558 professionals, 72 are pilots, 173 cabin crew, 7 aircraft technicians, and 306 marketing professionals, from Ethiopia and five other countries.
Ethiopian Aviation Academy (EAA), ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member and IATA authorized global training centre, has graduated 20 Cabin Crew trainees from Mozambique, who will serve the newly established Ethiopian-Mozambique airline.
Ethiopian Aviation Academy graduated 39 pilots and 45 Aviation Technicians at a ceremony held at Ethiopian Airlines headquarters on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
Among the 39 Pilot graduates, 20 are the second batch of MPL trainees. This batch of graduates comprise of cadets from Yemen and South Sudan.
The Ethiopian Grain Trade Enterprise (EGTE) is planning to purchase 5.5 million quintals of wheat from domestic and international suppliers, Walta Information Center reported.
The purchase, estimated to cost the Enterprise nearly 4.6 billion Ethiopian birr is aimed at stabilizing the supply of wheat, Birhane Haile, general manager of the enterprise, told Walta Information Center.
