The Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) is expanding its services to the Horn of Africa region to generate income. ECAE has been modernizing its testing laboratory and inspection and certification services to provide quality and effective services.
Ethiopian’s Group CEO, Tewolde GebreMariam, said the airline is considering obtaining China’s Comac C919 passenger planes. Mr. Tewolde told the Chinese state media Xinhua that Ethiopian is working to follow up the progress of the C919 planes by forming a joint committee with their Chinese counterparts.

The corporation’s profit before tax reached nearly Birr 1.4 billion, marking an 81% increase in revenue and a doubling of profit compared to the previous year.
The Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation (ECWC) announced that it is currently managing 57 projects with a combined contract value of Birr 45.2 billion. The state-owned construction firm aims to generate Birr 1.9 billion in revenue this fiscal year.
