Four brand-new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft will be powered by Trent XWB-97 engines thanks to a Total Care servicing contract negotiated by Rolls-Royce and Ethiopian Airlines. According to the deal, Ethiopian Airlines will have predictable costs for the servicing and upkeep of the engines. The agreement was inked while Ethiopian Airlines was present at the Derby, UK, office of Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace.

The system offers multiple payment options, including Tele Birr, CBE Birr, Fuel app, and Copay-ebirr and has facilitated over Birr 24 billion in transactions nationwide and is currently being used in 1,317 gas stations across the country. Over 10 million electronic fuel transactions have been conducted using these payment options since the system's national implementation.
