The Ethiopian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT) is planning to invest in the latest 3G LTE (long-term evolution) telecommunications networking technology.

The Ethiopian Leather Industry Development Institute and the Leather Industries Association are to give a joint press conference on the Ethiopian Leather Industry at 10 am tomorrow morning (12 March 2013) at the Institute’s hall.

The Institute will give a report of the performance and evaluation of the Leather Sector in the Ethiopian budget year of 2005. The Ethiopian Leather Industries Association will present the performance of the 6th All African Leather Fair which was held from 20 February to 22 February 2013. In addition, various current issues on the sector will be discussed.

The African Import and Export Bank (African EXIM Bank) is planning to convene its annual general assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in May.
The bank's general assembly meeting will be held as a sideline event of the Diamond Jubilee of the African Union which will take place in May 2013 in

Deloitte is to develop agribusinesses, finance and mining efforts alongside its consulting work in Ethiopia. It will conduct its business efforts alongside its consulting tasks said Sammy Onyango, Chief Executive Officer for Deloitte East Africa.

The company came to the decision to partner with domestic advisory and accountancy firm HST to take advantage of Ethiopia’s human resources and significant economic development he explained.
