Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) is finalizing Preparations to construct two roads linking the Addis Ababa-Adama Expressway with Addis Ababa City into two directions.

The 28.1-km roads will be constructed at a cost of more than 4.2 billion Ethiopian birr allocated by the government of Ethiopia and loan obtained from Chinese Exim bank, according to ERA's Communication Directorate, Samson Wondimu.

The roads will be constructed by the Chinese Communications Construction Corporation (CCCC). Constructions are expected to be completed within 2 years and 9 months, according to the director.

Addis Ababa-Adama Expressway is part of the five-year Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) of Ethiopia.
