Ethiopian Airports Enterprise Schedules Five Projects

The Ethiopian Airports Enterprise has scheduled five major projects that it expects to complete in the current financial year.

The most significant project will be the completion of the first round expansion of the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport apron. It is expected that this project will prove to be a solution for the aircraft parking problem currently affecting the service of the airport especially when large international conferences are being held.

The project is currently underway and is budgeted to cost an estimated 1.1 billion birr by the time of is completion scheduled for the coming January.

The expansion is being handled by the China Road and Building Construction Company and the supervisory task is being overseen by the Transport Construction Design Consultancy Share Company, a local company.
