Capital Hotel and Spa, a 114 room five-star hotel and resort was inaugurated on 10 May, 2013 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The hotel is owned by Yemane Gebreselassie, also owned of Hosea PLC, a company importing steel, auto parts, machinery, and export of agricultural commodities. Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Officially opened its representative office in Addis Ababa on Thursday May 9, 2013. Yaekob Yalla, State Minister of Trade said, the opening of the representative office will further strengthen the long standing business and people-to-people relations with the Middle East.
According to Yaekob, frequent visits have been made by senior government officials from the two countries in the previous years to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

A German-Ethiopian advanced training center with the Kulumsa Agricultural Research Center was inaugurated by Aigner and Agriculture State Minister Wondyirad Mandefro. The government of Germany allocated 2.7 million Euro budget for the center. A German parliamentary delegation also visited the center.
The newly opened center will be used to teach farmers about sustainable, site-specific and climate-adapted methods of production including training with modern technology. By 2014, the center, located some 170km south-east of Addis Ababa, will train 1500 farmers. Add a comment Add a comment
