Ethiopian's Athlete Haile Gebreselassie Launched Coffee Development Business

A coffee plantation owned by the legendary Ethiopian long distance athlete Haile Gebreselassie has officially launched planting coffee on 1,500 hectare plantation located in Sheka zone, Souther Regional State.

Representatives of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Visited Ethiopia

Representatives six Italian textile machinery manufacturing companies visited Ethiopia and held a discussion with Ethiopian businesses on Tuesday 02 July 2013 at the Addis Ababa Hilton Hotel.

“Ethiopia is a country with great prospects that is willing to invest in order to allow its textile sector to continually grow. The goal of this mission is, not just to present what our sector has to offer, but to develop a dialog with local authorities for a program of long term cooperation,” said Raffaella Carabelli, President of the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers. Ethiopia's Omo Kuraz Sugar Project Created 6000 Jobs

The Omo Kuraz sugar development project in Ethiopia has reportedly created jobs for  more than six thousand residents of the of the area, according to Nuredin Asaro, General Manager of Omo Kuraz sugar development project.
