The Norwegian chemical and mining company, Yara International PLC, has acquired exploration and mining licenses for 20 years. The company is going to undertake exploration and mining activities in Afar State and its licenses have the option of being extended for another 10 years depending on the demand.

Africa’s largest airline group, Ethiopian Airlines, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded SKYTRAX 4 Star certification at a special ceremony held in London on November 8, 2017.
Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) traded commodities worth 2.2 billion Birr during the month of October. The traded commodities were all in all 37,222 tons.
