The Ethiopian Sugar Corporation announced that a new national sugar policy is being prepared. The new policy will set the direction for import, export and consumption of sugar in the country, the corporation disclosed.
Aiming to realize universal access to electricity, Ethiopia has launched the National Electrification Program 2.0 (NEP 2.0). NEP 1.0 was launched in 2017.

Unilever Ethiopia inaugurated a toothpaste factor in the Eastern Industry Park in Dukem, 31 km southeast of Addis Ababa. The toothpaste factory will produce the Unilever brand Signal toothpaste.
