RANK Family PLC was established a decade ago (July 2006) to address the gap in the availability of dermatological services to clients in Addis Ababa. There was only one practicing Dermatologist when the business was launched. However, as the number of clients grew substantially through time, more part-time doctors and other health professionals (nurses, Lab technicians etc.) were deployed. Moreover, to enhance client satisfaction, Gelead Pharmacy was established to avail drugs and dermatological preparations as well as aesthetic products for clients treated at the clinic.

Currently, more than 50 staff members are working in the three business sectors. There is also an expatriate medical specialist hired to meet the needs of our clients. There is a strategic intent to establish medicated cosmetics manufacturing facility so that more customized and research-based treatment is given to our clients.
