TEDAT Construction is a Private Limited Company initially established and registered as a GRADE 2 BUILDING and GRADE 1 WATER WORK CONTRACTOR in 2000 E.C. It is run by professionals with a solid track record of Civil Engineering and Project Management both at consultancy and construction levels. The Founders have over 15 years total experience in these disciplines.
The idea of establishing TEDAT Construction PLC was mooted in 2000 E.C when a group of two like-minded Civil Engineers met at Addis Ababa. The two engineers, who agreed to establish the business as a partnership, are Wodaje Beshir & Mesfin Kassa.
Today, TEDAT focuses on road construction, building construction, bridge construction, and construction of irrigation facilities in the country. The company is also engaged in the production of construction material like gravel and HCB. We have executed a number of such projects during the last 8years of its existence for wide cliental, predominantly corporate entities. Our professional projects management team ensures quality, costeffective and timely delivery of products and services. Our permanent client base is a testimony to our focused commitment to the task undertaken.
We assign both operations and supervision staff to each project we perform. The result is accurate completion of client objectives. Our head office and project staff and office locations provide our clients with unequaled project resources. Continual investment in our firm's infrastructure insures our ability to meet clients‟ demands. Customer service is our priority.

The business is driven by our 3 working Directors and 6 well experienced Managers with close legal advisor and internal control; collectively they accumulated more 15 years of experience in construction industry. They are involved in business development, contract administration, project management, procurement, office management, finance and administration of the company.
The management team proactively gathers feedback, identifies changes in business environment, reviews work processes and communicates key learning points and company policy to all staff at regular meetings.
TEDAT Construction PLC will provide adequate resources to develop and maintain quality, safety and environmental planning, control, assurance and improvement initiatives with training to ensure full participation of employees. Quality, Safety and environment protection are management responsibilities. To ensure we meet our objectives, the following outlines individual responsibilities in relation to the implementation of our Quality Assurance program;
As senior executive officer, our MD has overall responsibility for setting the company‟s quality goals, strategic planning for growth and overall improvement to business processes, and to ensure these goals are met through constant performance indicators. The MD also reviews the quality management system regularly.
The quality manager is an integral component of our management team and has the responsibility and authority to manage the day-to-day operation of the quality system, including advising senior management on the performance of the system. The Quality Manager is also responsible for conducting training in quality awareness.
The members of the management team have the responsibility to ensure that the company‟s quality goals are translated into operational effectiveness. They are accountable for the quality outcomes of their departments.
Supervisors are responsible for implementing the quality system on a day-to-day basis. They are also responsible for conducting work skills, OH&S and Customer Service training.
Each person is expected to understand their role in achieving quality outcomes and then putting these principles into practice.
