Localization (also referred to as “l10n”) is the process of adapting a product or content to a specific locale or market. Translation is only one of several elements of the localization process. In addition to translation, the localization process may also include: Adapting graphics to target markets.

ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ዋና፣ ዋና ቋንቋዎች በተለይ አማርኛ፣ ጉራጊኛ፣ ሃዲያኛ፣ ኦሮሚፋ፣ ሶማሊኛ፣ ትግሪኛ እና ወላይትኛ ጥራት ያለው ትርጒም አገልግሎት ለማግኘት ይፈልጋሉ?

    • ሁልጊዜ በትርጒም ሥራችን ላይ ዘመኑ ያፈራውን ቴክኖሎጂ (ለአብነት እንደ CAT መሣሪያዎች ማለትም በኮምፒውተር የታገዘ ትርጒም) ስለ የምንጠቀም እንኳን በደኅና መጡ ኢትዮስታር በኢትዮጵያ ፌደራላዊ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ሪፖብሊክ የንግድ ሚኒስቴር በንግድ ፈቃድ ቊጥር AA/AR/G7/1/001863/2012 በአዲስ አበባ፣ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ በሕጋዊ መንገድ የተመዘገበ ለተለያዩ የንግድ ሥራ ዓይነቶች የቋንቋ ትርጒም አገልግሎት በመስጠት ላይ ያተኮረ የትርጒም አገልግሎት ሰጪ ድርጅት ነው። በድርጅታችን ውስጥ ያሉ ሠራተኞች ተጨባጭ የሆነ የትርጒም ሥራ ተሞክሮና ትምህርት እንዲሁም አስፈላጊው ክኅሎቶች ያላቸው ናቸው።

የእኛ ራእይ በመላው ምሥራቅ አፍሪካ በክልሉ ውስጥ ባሉት ዋንኛ ቋንቋዎች የትርጒም አገልግሎቶችን በማቅረብ ግንባር ቀደም የትርጒምና ምርትን ከባቢያዊ የማድረግ ሥራ አገልግሎት አቅራቢ ኩባንያ ሆኖ መገኘት ነው።

የሚከተሉት ሠራተኞች አሉን፦
የቃላት ልሂቃን፥ ተርጓሚዎች፥ አርታዒያን፥ የዴስክቶፕ ኅትመት ባለሞያዎች፥ ሶፍትዌር መሐንዲሶች፥ ትርጁማኖች፥ ምርትን ከባቢያዊ የማድረግ ሥራ ባለሞያዎች ኢትዮስታር ተርጓሚዎች፣ አርታዒያን፣ እና ገምጋሚዎችትርጒም አገልግሎት በሚሰጥበት ቋንቋ አፋቸውን የፈቱና የትርጒም አገልግሎት የሞያ ብቃት ማረጋገጫ ያላቸው ከመሆናቸው ባሻገር፣ የኢትዮስታር ተርጓሚዎች፣ አርታዒያን እና ገምጋሚዎች የሚከተሉት ተጨማሪ እሴቶች አሏቸው፦

• • • በቋንቋ ትርጒም ሥራ፣ የቋንቋ ጥናት ወይም ከቴክኖሎጂ ጋር ተዛማጅነት ባለው መስክ የዩኒቨርስቲ ዲግሪ።
    • አብዛኛዎቹ የመጀመሪያ ወይም ሁለተኛ ዲግሪ ያላቸው ከመሆናቸው በተጨማሪ የሳይንስ እና/ወይም የቴክኒክ ድህረ ታሪክ ያላቸው ናቸው።
    • በደንበኛው ኢንዱስትሪ መስክ የራሳቸው ልምድና ተሞክሮ።
    • ቴክኖሎጂ ጋር ተዛማጅነት ያላቸውን ቃላት መተርጐም እና በኮምፒውተር ሶፍትዌር መሥራትን ጨምሮ በትርጒም ሥራ ኢንዱስትሪ ውስጥ የበርካታ ዓመታት የሥራ ልምድ (በአማካይ ሰባት ዓመት)።

በእያንዳንዱ ፕሮጄክት ላይ ኢትዮስታር ለመተርጐም ሆነ ምርትን ከባቢያዊ ለማድረግ ምን ዓይነት ሂደትን ይከተላል?

1. የፕሮጄክት ሥራ አስኪያጅ ይመደባል
2. ፕሮጄክት ሥራ አስኪያጅ መሥራት ከሚችሉ ተርጓሚዎች እና አርታዒያን መካከል መርጦ ሥራውን ይሰጣቸዋል
3. ተርጓሚዎች እና አርታዒያን በቅደም ተከተላቸው ሥራቸውን ሠርተው ያጠናቅቃሉ
4. ፕሮጄክት ሥራ አስኪያጅ የተተረጐመውን/አርትዕ የተደረገውን ፋይል ለደንበኛው ተመላሽ ያደርጋል።

ከእኛ ጋር ቢሠሩ ምን ጠቀማሉ
ከምንም በላይ ከፍተኛ ጥራት ያለውን ትርጒም ሥራ ሠርቶ ለማቅረብ ቁርጠኛ ፍላጐት አለን። ምንም ዓይነት ተማሪ ተርጓሚዎች፣ ድንገቴ ተርጓሚዎች እና ሥራው የማይመለከታቸው ግን ቋንቋ በማወቃቸው ብቻ እንተረጒማለን የሚሉ ሰዎችን በሥራችን ውስጥ አንጠቀምም - በሚተርጒሙት ጉዳይ ዙሪያ በቂ ዕውቀትና የሥራ ልምድ ያላቸውን በቂ ትምህርትና ዝግጅት ያላቸውን ፕሮፌሽናል ተርጓሚዎችን ብቻ ቀጥረን እናሠራለን። ከዚህ በተጨማሪ የራሳችን የቃላት ፍቺ ባንካችን እና ከእውነታው ዓለም ጋር የተጣጣሙ ሙዳየ ቃላት መዝገባችን የምንጠቀምባቸውን ቃላት ወጥነት ያላቸው እና የምንሰጠው የትርጒም አገልግሎትም የላቀ እንዲሆን ማድረግ ያስችለናል።
በሚከተሉት ሁለት ዋንኛ ምክንያቶች በተለይ እኛ ተመራጭ ነን፦

• • • ከክቡራን ደንበኞቻችን ለሚሰጠን የሥራ ትዕዛዝ ያለ ምንም ወለም ዘለም በሰዓቱ ሠርተን እናስረክባለን።
    • በዓለም ዙሪያ ተመሳሳይ አገልግሎት ከሚሰጡ የትርጒም አገልግሎት ሰጪ ድርጅቶች አኳያ ሲታይ የእኛ ዋጋ ብዙም ኪስን የሚጐዳ አይደለም።

ትርጒም ሥራ
ትርጒም ሥራ በአንድ ቋንቋ የተሰጠ አንደምታን ለዛና ስሜቱን ሳያጣ ወደ ሌላ ቋንቋ እንዳለ የማስተላለፍ አእምሮን የሚጠቀም ሥራ ነው። በአንድ ቋንቋ ያሉትን አለባውያን በሌላ ቋንቋ ወደ ያሉት አቻ ፍቺዎች የማስተላለፍ ተግባር ነው። ትርጒም ሥራ የአንድ ጽሑፍ ይዘት ከምንጭ ቋንቋ ወደ ዒላማ ቋንቋ የሚተላለፍበት ሥራ ነው (Foster, 1958).

ምርትን ከባቢያዊ ማድረግ
ምርትን ከባቢያዊ ማድረግ (በእንግሊዝኛ ቋንቋ በተጨማሪ“l10n” በመባልም ይታወቃል) አንድን ምርት ወይም ይዘት ለአንድ የተወሰነ አካባቢ ወይም ገበያ በሚስማማ መልኩ እንዲቀርብ የማድረግ ሂደት ነው። ትርጒም አገልግሎት ከምርትን ከባቢያዊ ማድረግ በርካታ አባለ ነገሮች መካከልአንዱን ገጽታ ብቻ የሚወክል የሂደቱ ክፍል ነው።

ከትርጒም አገልግሎት በተጨማሪ፣ ምርትን ከባቢያዊ የማድረግ ሥራው ሂደት የሚከተሉትን ሊያካትት ይችላል፦ ሥዕሎችን፣ ምስሎችን ወዘተ ዒላማ ከተደረገው ገበያ ጋር እንዲስማሙ ማድረግ።
