Polished Events is a private limited company (PLC) that was established a decade ago and re-structured under the umbrella of HATFAM Trading plc in 2019. Its headquarter is located in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
Polished is an Ethiopia-based event, Marketing, printing, and communication consulting firm that is committed to delivering the best services and creative solutions throughout Ethiopia. Our core businesses are consulting on marketing and communication, planning, budgeting, organizing, and managing different types of events that are synergistic with our skills in experience and printing. And we provide virtual, live, and hybrid event planning services for corporate-focused events of all sizes.
Polished is proficient in planning and managing different types of events such as summits and international conferences, meetings, investor’s forums, business conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural shows, product launching, special programs, events, etc.
Our company is recognized for using unique concepts that use creative event, marketing, and communication services as a vehicle for a wide range of clients across several governmental, public, and private institutions.

How We Do Business?
Organizational Structure and Staffing
Polished events have a lean and flat organizational structure to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Accordingly, the Managing Director represented is at the Apex with ultimate decision-making authority. Underneath the general manager is two deputy general managers responsible for running the company.
The deputy general managers have four departments directly accountable to them.

DAWIT HAILU
Founder, Creative Director, Event designer
He is the Managing Director of Polished Marketing & Events. He is an event planner, who has many years of work experience.
He also has an extensive experience in the area of Marketing, Sales, business administration, logistics, facility administration, event management, and services.
He has a unique personality that combines fun and creativity with a very strong strategic thinking capability that has enabled him to succeed in life & business.
He started his professional life as a Teacher and worked in different schools and colleges. Right after that, he started working as a sale executive in one of the nation’s top real estate companies, where he got in touch with and developed his passion for business and marketing. After that, he has been directly involved in and overseen various businesses & projects including trading business, publisher, creative communication, as well as sales in different organizations including the one, he found. He has worked for Addis Connection, Access Capital, Access Real Estate, Toviah Consulting, and Aser real estate, rising to a senior managerial level in the latter organization.
This experience enables him to have a broader perspective on specific clients’ problems. Having a natural communication ability and a strategic thinking capability he has acquired a solid reputation for effective networking and strategic alliance-building among crucial industry stakeholders and corporate businesses.
