Sunrise Plc is a private company that is engaged in the import and distribution of laboratory equipment, chemicals, media, and agricultural industry inputs (such as poultry equipment, bee equipment, agrochemical equipment, agricultural equipment, and so on), water purification and treatment chemicals, teaching aids, school equipment, scientific equipment, and apparatus, and chemicals in Ethiopia.

Sunrise PLC is a privately owned company established in June 2006 with meager resources & limited manpower. In the years to follow, it widened its scope of business activities and opened market outlets for many overseas manufacturers to sell their products in Ethiopia
