LOMI Leather is an association of women entrepreneurs who are producing leather goods and garments in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was founded in July 2014 and granted legal status in November 2015. UNIDO insisted on establishing this association in July 2014 by gathering women who are willing and strongly believe that working in the cluster can make a difference in their business.

UNIDO has been successful in elevating LOMI to a position of prominence in the leather industry. The "Technical Assistance Project for the Upgrading of the Ethiopian Leather and Leather Products Industry" funded by the Italian Development Cooperation and implemented in collaboration with the Leather Industry Development Institute (LIDI), promotes gender equality and women's economic empowerment by implementing specific activities aimed at assisting women-led micro and small enterprises active in the leather manufacturing sector.
