Maensu Business PLC has engaged in the Import and Export Business in Ethiopia. The main business line is focused on importing & manufacturing of different types of electrical Items in the areas of electrical distribution (air circuit breakers, residual current devices, switch disconnectors, surge protective devices, fuses, distribution boxes and others), industrial control and acessories (AC/DC contactors, thermal overload relays, motor protectors, magnetic starters, cable connectors, control signals, industrial plugs, sockets and others) and power energy management devices (meters, current transformers, single and three phase voltage stabilizers and others), Edison Lamps, FirstPower power backup devices (home UPS),, TIBOX aluminum enclosure boards, stainless steel cabinets and floor stand cabinets and SUPER Fluorescent Tubes (lamps) for the local market in Ethiopia. The export sector is mainly relied on buying of different type of agricultural grains from local market and exporting to foreign countries. 

Maensu Business PLC is addressed in the city of Addis Ababa, Ledeta, Kifle Kettema, Wereda 09 House No, New 318 on Biftu building third floor.

COMPANY ORGANIZATION & HUMAN RESOURSE 

ESTABLISHEMENT:- Maensu Business PLC is a private limited company established in accordance with the Commercial Code of Ethiopia of 1960 and registered with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on Ginbot 12, 2005 E.C. Initially, its authorized capital was birr 3,000,000.00 subdivided in to 300 shares with a pair value Birr 10,000.00 each. The capital is increased to Birr 29,070,000.00 on Miazia 02, 2010 E.C, subdivided in to 2,907 shares with par value of Birr 10,000.00 each. 

As it is stated on the Memorandum of associations, the General Manager is elected and appointed by the share holders in order to perform all managerial activities under the company. At the beginning of the year 2009/10 E.C, the Company has 19 Permanent workers. In 2010 E.C for the accomplishment and achievement of the laid up goals, new manufacturing plant will be bought & erected as well as the number of workers will be increased accordingly. It is the company willing to accommodate favorable working condition as well as to open work opportunity to the workers. 
The higher Authority of the company is member of the share holders and along with this, there will be the management groups that are represented by the share holders to manage and control as well as firmly to run the entire middle and low level activities of the Company. 
The Company has been organized with Company Structural hierarchy from board of director to the low level. Departmental Policies, standards, basic rules & regulations are fundamentally having been set up for the achievement of future objectives of the company.

MAIN PLAN & TYPS OF JOBS RENDER BY THE COMPANY 

  • The Company is basically incorporated to perform importing Electrical Items from foreign & supplying to the local market as well as manufacturing local Boards & related assembling products to the Electro Mechanical assembling companies in the local market.
  • The company is working expansion on manufacturing sector to upgrade the market share capacity of the company. To facilitate and accomplish these operational tasks the company uses big ware house for the purpose of Manufacturing & bonded ware house for the purpose of storage and for other relative operation works.
  • In each coming year, the company has planned to manufacture SKD LED Bulbs, SKD Stabilizers, SKD Extension Sockets. Based on the annual planning for the coming five years the company gradually will increase the manufacturing capacity by 20%

SALES AND MARKETING

Having considered the past three years sales and marketing plan's performance; correspondingly, the company has studied the market which the supply and demand of the running business and as a result, the company has set new plan for Manufacturing sector in 2011 E.C. 
It is expected on the Manufacturing sector; general production sales of the company will continue in a similar growing range corresponding with the past three year's electrical items sales performance. Hence, for the newly to be manufactured products, marketing woks will be supported through promotion works parallel with other electrical materials supply. 

FINANCIAL REPORTS

The Company's past three years financial record shows that an annual sale as stated below is increasing. According to the data, the company has put new expansion plan on manufacturing sector to produce some selected new items. In order to make the plan functional, the company is allocating finance to purchase machineries and other related equipment to inter in to Manufacturing. 
As it is indicated on the attached three years financial report on the profit and loss statement, for the electrical items annual sales performance shows that in 2008 Birr 49,570,441.52,2009 Birr 42,950,269.58 & in 2010 Birr 46,674,179.00 which progressively show efficiency of the company. 
Based on the company each past three years financial records, it is expected to grow up the production & sales volume of the company.
