It is named after its parent company known as Nova international; an international sports marketing agency specialized in marketing athletics events and organization of mass participation sporting events. based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and headed by Olympic medalist Brendan Foster, Nova international has established itself as a market leader in the world of sports marketing and event organization over the past 20 years. Nova Africa Events PLC is made to have separate legal existence as per the rules, laws and regulations of the country but economically it is accounted as subsidiary to the parent company, Nova international.
