Ethiopian Exchange Commodity (ECX) disclosed it had managed to trade 1.7 billion Birr worth commodities during the last month, August.

During that month, according to ECX, 33,528 tons of coffee, sesame, and beans was traded at the Exchange.

The total coffee that was traded at ECX is estimated to be worth 1.4 billion Birr while the total estimation for sesame was 303 million Birr worth.
