Unilever Opened Factory in Ethiopia

The England based consumer products manufacturer, Unilever, has opened its factory in Ethiopia. The factory is said to be located in Easter Industry Zone, Dukem.

The factory, according to Fana Broadcasting Corporate, is built at an outlay of 13 million Euros. The Corporate further explained Unilever decided to invest in Ethiopia due to the country’s demography, broad-based growth, and the opportunity to develop a sustainable and inclusive business model.

Unilever is world’s second biggest consumer products manufacturer. Its products include food stuffs, personal care and home products. Currently it has 90 plants in the African continent.
