Ethiopian Airlines has placed orders two Boeing 787-9s for delivery in 2017, according to its CEO.

Moreover, Tewolde Gebremariam the airlines’ CEO told Air Transport World (ATW) magazine that Ethiopian is “also studying the Boeing 777X.”

The Ethiopian flag carrier plans to order additional Airbus A350 XWBs, taking its total from 14 to 25, which will be used initially on European and Asian routes, the CEO told ATW.
